12:00pm: Chewbacca and the Rebel Pilots
Meet the Mighty Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew) and the Rebel Pilots, Nien Numb (Mike Quinn), Biggs Darklighter (Garrick Hagon), and Red 9 (Jack Klaff), and hear their stories of filming Star Wars.

2:00PM: Max Max: The Road Warrior Panel
For the first time in 35 years, the cast of Mad Max: The Road Warrior (Bruce Spence, Virginia Hey, Vernon Wells, Kjell Nilsson, and Emil Minty) come together to talk about their experience in filming the classic 1982 movie.

4:00PM: The Walking Dead Panel
Join Austin Amelio (Dwight) and Khary Payton (King Ezekiel) of the AMC hit series “The Walking Dead” and discuss the shocking season opener, see where the show is going, and maybe find out, who is next!

5:00PM: Empire Saber Guild Performance
As the Jedi Order struggles to maintain peace during the Clone Wars, Master Tarco and a small group of Knights are sent to Coruscant after the Council receives an urgent transmission. Their mission: find the Mandalorian, Falco. But this Bounty Hunter has a package containing more than they - and even he - could ever bargain for... Will they be able to set things right once a nefarious Sith plan is set into motion? Find out in Saber Guild: Empire Temple's original show: Smuggler's Bounty.

6:00PM: Costume Contest
Winter Con presents the LARGEST Costume Contest in the area! The Masquerade Cosplay Contest is a craftsmanship award show, with a pre-judging session and a catwalk display. Last year we had a great number of beautiful costumes be a part of our contest! We cant wait to see what will come this year!

11:00AM: The Science Fiction work of Jack Kirby
They're Back! Join writer Adam McGovern & Jack Kirby Museum co-founder Rand Hoppe as they present "The Science Fiction Work of Jack Kirby." Join them as they travel from the pulp magazines of Kirby's youth, through his mind-bending work featuring classic characters like the Fantastic Four, Captain America, the Star-Child from 2001: A Space Odyssey, Captain Victory, O.M.A.C., and much more.

12:00PM: Cosplay and Consent
Many people get excited to see their favorite characters come to life! People cosplaying is one of the exciting parts of going to geek conventions. Sometime people forget at the end that the day the cosplayer is a person under that costume. Some people new and old to the community seem to not understand that just because someone is dressed as a certain character that concent is not needed. Cosplayers work hard on there costumes and want there photos taken but this panel will show you how to approach them. We will also share stores and we would also like to hear yours!

1:00PM: Ghost Smashers
This panel will discuss the original drafts and ideas that lead to the iconic supernatural comedy Ghostbusters as well as actors and actresses who could have played the roles we know and love. Armed with clips, skits, and enough proton charging to alert the EPA, this informative and funny panel hosted by actual Ghostbusters is enough to make you cross the streams and remember, crossing the streams is bad.

2:00PM: LGBT responsibility in Comics
Are publishing houses really listening to the LGBT community for flushed out non-throwaway characters? Eg: freedom's ring vs the most recent Young Avengers series.

3:00PM: Zombies VS The Road Warrior
A fast pasted freewheeling, brain eating, madcap debate comparing the post-apocalyptic worlds of Zombies and Mad Max.

4:00PM: Street Pass Meetup
Did you bring your Nintendo 3DS system to Winter Con? Are you looking for StreetPass tags? Would you like to battle against other players in the new Pokemon Sun and Moon? Join the StreetPass Meetup Panel, hosted by StreetPass Long Island! Come to our panel to hype about the Nintendo Switch, chat about your favorite games, learn whats new in the gaming community, and of course to get some StreetPass tags!"

6:00PM: Winter Film Festival Awards 
Mike’s Carbo’s BIG APPLE CON sponsored the 2016 WINTER FILM AWARDS (WFA) Animation Program. There were two winners. Best Animated Film went to director Pedro Solís’ STRINGS and director Rhiannon Evans’ animated short won for Best Student Film. We are pleased to bring these two shorts, along with a few of the other films that were in competition as part of the 2016 program for the WFA.

 

SUNDAY DECEMBER 4TH

MAIN STAGE

11:00AM: Kids Costume Showcase
Bring the kids and put them in costume!  We have set up this hour on our main stage to display all the awesome kids costumes at the show!  A great photo op that you and your family will remember for years to come!  Sponsored by Squishables, every child (12 and under) who enters the showcase gets a prize!

12:00PM: The Women of Sci-Fi Q&A
Hear the stories from 3 of the most popular women in Sci-Fi history! Nichelle Nichols (Star Trek), Adrienne Barbeau (Escape from NY, Swamp Thing), and Virginia Hey (Mad Max: The Road Warrior, Farscape). 

2:00PM: The Warriors Q&A
Meet the most popular gang in cinema history! Hear the stories from the stars who made this super-stylized action film into a cult classic!

11:00AM: "The Cosplayer"
"The Cosplayer" is the latest feature film parody from "I Like To Play With Toys" Productions®. It's pieced together from outtakes of a failed reality show pilot called "Online Love." Jason Brown meets his internet girlfriend Sabrina Torres for the first time at a popular convention all while Joe O'Brien, the producer of the show tries to manipulate their actions so his show gets picked up by a network. The reactions from the convention attendees are 100% unscripted and authentic. It’s Borat meets Con Culture.

Preview/Screening plus Q&A with cast and crew.

12:00PM: Be a Community Hero
An open discussion about anti-bullying for parents and kids. Bullying affects our children in ways adults don’t really understand and often goes un-noticed. Join the discussion on how we can help our children and each other deal with bullying, and teach everyone how to recognize it and prevent it from happening in the future. Led by licensed therapist,​ ​Christopher McCarthy, MA,CASAC-T,LMSW, and LGBT HQ diversity advocates Jay Justice and Matthew Levine.

1:00PM: Children Becoming Heroes
A presentation on the magic of introducing humane education visually, through comics, to children of all demographics around the world. Engaging them this way gets around literacy, cultural, and language barriers to a degree few could expect.  Children will have a chance to meet Super Piggy, the real life dog featured in A Piggy's Tale.

3:00PM: Sci_Fi Top 10's
Join Capt. Zoriqh in compiling the greatest top 10 lists of all science fiction!
